In the Super Smash Bros. series, Isabelle was featured as an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U and as a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. As an Assist Trophy, she helped whoever summoned her by throwing fruit that could heal them. The 3DS/Wii U game also had an Isabelle Suit available for Mii Gunners. When she debuted as a playable character in Ultimate, she had a moveset based on that of the Villager's.
In Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, a costume of Isabelle's appearance could be obtained as armor for the cat-like Palico creatures. This costume was known as the Isabelle Guise Palico Armor.
Isabelle appeared as a playable racer in Mario Kart 8 (as a DLC character) and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
In Miitopia, an outfit based on Isabelle's appearance could be obtained by scanning an amiibo.

Isabelle's English name sounds like "is a bell", and it could refer to the bells on her ribbon or the resemblance of her head to a bag of Bells. Her Japanese name is simply Shizue, a Japanese word for "quiet branch" which also references her being a Shih Tzu.
Her birthday is December 20th.
