It was a pretty big surprise when he found the compact travel armor conveniently sitting on his couch during his coffee break in his otherwise-unaffected house. Like a kid on Christmas morning, he's suiting up seconds later, and nearly everything seemed right--nearly. His remote communication with JARVIS was, obviously, offline, and a few minor technical details were absent, but he could easily fix those later. But right now? Oh, he has to get out there. It can't wait-- And then he gets outside. He's momentarily stunned, but it doesn't last. It's suddenly very clear why he has his armor, and he knows what he has to do. Iron Man will be patrolling the whole of Luceti, but especially the village, taking down as many whosits and whatsits galore as he can, and saving anyone who looks like they are in trouble. This isn't, however, the type of fighting he's used to, and the Mark V just isn't as powerful, especially with the missing details. He has to go back and recharge far more than he'd like to, and considering he doesn't have JARVIS looking out for his systems, it's not a risk he can take to push this suit too far. He'll also be looking for familiar faces, particularly those with knowledge of Luceti, to try and pinpoint what exactly is happening here. Not the normal decor for Luceti, not at all, but the castle. It even made the same eerie creaks and groans like it too. Sorry housemates you might be greeted with an ominous black figure looming over you or popping up out of nowhere while you're doing something entirely mundane. They're certainly not harmful, at least not supposed to be. The phantoms might try to get your attention in less than savory ways though. They like popping in when you're eating, showering, brushing your teeth in the mirror or even just reading. So CH 7 enjoy your phantomesque creatures for the next few days. Naturally they'll disappear and re-appear where ever the next piece of the castle shows up. Helios yelps in surprise when he sees one appear out of the floor boards in the hallway. ] You really need to stop doing that! [ Yes he is talking to the black human-like mass silently drifting behind him. ] I-I don't understand how you...got here. [ They couldn't actually be here the castle wasn't actually in Luceti...unless he... ] Are we back home or something entirely else? [ Maybe it was another faulty shift? Home coming here perhaps? Either way Helios will be going to check on the areas in town. The Library will get hit with castle shift and anyone inside it is free to marvel at the changed layout and vaulted castle ceilings and thousands of books lining well...everywhere. Note the changed subject material and all that. Also phantoms will try to attack you should you try to take one of those books! No unauthorized persons are allowed to take them! Don't worry though they can't exactly touch anything. They can scare you half to death though. ] 30th [ And today Helios will be out and about too. You might notice that giant silver smooth pin like structure with a plate, it looked like, or UFO balanced precariously on top of it. He'll be looking up at it, horrified. ] It can't be. [ But of course it was. And you might run into a familiar figure today striding towards you quickly. A figure that looks amazingly like Helios. Mainly because it is Helios only, you know, decidedly more evil and dictatorial and trying to kill you. So you better duck when he throws a fireball at your head. Exploring ruins, jungles, and unknown cities, observing monsters and other oddities from afar, battling and testing out her skills on things that grow near, it's really all quite the rush of adrenaline and the boost of confidence when she succeeds in a fight. Never enough to make her over confident, but enough to ensure she can pull her weight. A good feeling when you're only a human with some knives, guns, and a quick mind and reflexes. Today she's out for another stroll, seeing what new sights Luceti has to offer. The mixture of a futuristic city catches her eye and she treads carefully, marveling at the architecture of the buildings and content to admire everything. Squishy organic sounds come from some deep corner, a parasitic tentacle guards the toilet, and a Biri in the bath catches sight of him and starts to drift over menacingly.] [He closes the door again.] [Opens it again.] [Now, most of the bathroom is taken up by a bottomless pit, ammenities floating on invisible platforms. A guillotine, positioned just in front of the toilet, slams down threateningly, and above it hovers the shadow of something that'd make using said facilities rather uncomfortable.] [Link RAGEQUITS slams the door shut, and stalks off to find somewhere less threatening to wash up.] July 29th - August 2nd, anywhere [Link can be found out and about, but especially in the proximity of house 49 (and the stables - got to make sure Epona is alright!), the plaza, and the battle dome. The others flanking it take splash damage, and subsequently get knocked over. That leaves several to try to shoot Kazooie - but she's a cartoon. The bullets don't hit her normally - they impact, and she makes a sound of pain, but they don't do more than make her stumble back. And in return, the remaining turrets get pelted with Fire Eggs. Easily taken care of indeed - it was almost laughable how simple most of them were to take out. There was the occasional Bull Charger, which took longer to take care of, but they too went down in time. It's only when Miyabi changes back to her normal form - only larger - does a particularly nasty Demon Lord decide to rear its ugly head her way. It's masked head...and its squirming, writhing, nine tails. Yes, the fox demon, Ninetails, has shown up in Luceti. Miyabi had just turned a corner around a tree, trying to head home, when the scene changed. She was now atop huge pedestal...which was also ontop of a roof. She was staring down the huge fox, who was snarling and licking her chops, hungry for flesh and blood. Of all the days to remember she didn't have her sword on her. Fan-fucking-tastic. Literally, in some cases, when her Grenade Egg smashes into some random enemy and blows it sky-high. Ever since Kazooie found out that her Eggs showed up in the weird Weapons Shop, she's been popping in and out of it to restock every once in awhile. And it's a good thing she did, too! That intuition of hers is always right, something funny was going on with this mishmash of places she's never seen before and enemies she's never beaten up before. But it's all fun and games for an adventurer like her! She won't admit to herself - or anybody else - that a little pang goes through her whenever part of her home shows up; worlds from Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie mostly, complete with their items and music to the best of the mun's ability. It's weird - she remembers collecting those items, why are they back? - but as far as she's concerned, it's great running into them again. Always fun to visit a place you've already kicked serious butt in! ... She wishes she had Banjo to help kick things around, though the lazy bear would probably just get in the way... Regardless, Kazooie is in prime condition, and years of hero-ing have her tuned to help people in trouble! ... Usually for a price, but hey, this is a special circumstance, the Jiggies can wait! They're definitely gonna be pouring in soon...
