~Eggman swoops down at Sonic~

Eggman: Give it up! You can't escape!

~Eggman realizes too soon that he's heding towards a tree and crashes into it~

Eggman: Curses... I'll get him with this! ~pursues Sonic again, but this time holding his right arm up to his eye~

~Meanwhile, at the remains of the castle~

WW: That was fun! Can we do it again?

Timnis: So, what now?

Golem: Well, we don't know where Mr. ESRB is. Rach has the emeralds now....~glares at WW~

WW: What? :D

Timnis: ... Hmmm? Do you guys feel that?

Golem,WW: Feel what?

Timnis: I keep getting this signal...

Golem: Maybe your new powers let you sense emeralds?..... Nah.

Author: Golem

Golem: No, wait, of course! Just like how Knuckles senses emeralds! I knew we'd find something in this rubble!

Timnis: I dunno... Wouldn't it be in a Special Zone? Oh, speaking of which, how's your ring count, WW?

WW: Who? Oh, me again! I have... three.

Timnis: Where?! You're not carrying them...

Golem: Oh, just like Sonic! :mmm

Timnis: ~walking through rubble~ It's getting stronger!

WW: Oh no!

Timnis: It's... ~takes a step~ Right... ~takes another step~ Here! ~punches through rubble, finds bin full of rings~ Hey, come over here! ~they come~

Golem: What?

Timnis: It's a bunch of rings! And look at the side! It says "USELESS RINGS"! Why would they be useless?

Golem: Who cares? Use them to go in the Special Zone, Timnis!

Timnis: Wait, I think having an upgrade allows one to go into the Special Zone. But, I shouldn't go, WW should go again.

WW: ...What if it breaks again?

Timnis: I can't go, I might need to find other stuff.

~WW leaps in the bin and absorbs a lot of rings, then disappears. Elsewhere...~

Sonic: UGH! ~falls to the ground~

Tails: Huh? ~looks behind him, sees Sonic on the ground, then Eggman in a weird costume~ Thanks, whoever you are!

Eggman: Thanks?! You're next!

Tails: Eep! ~squints eyes~ Wait... that's Eggman!

Author: Wonder Wario

Eggman: ~Grabs Tails~ Okay, Tails. You're going to tell me EXACTLY what's going on.

Tails: I don't know what's happening!

Eggman: Listen Tails.... I don't know what's going on, and you supposably don't... It's either that cheese woman who is causing this, or those three stooges.

Tails: Those three guys? It isn't them...

Eggman: Perhaps. Maybe,... we should... call a truce for now.

Author: Golem

Tails: But we already did that!

Eggman: Shut up, it's the only way I win.

Tails: Well... I guess we should get somewhere that we can work... but definetly not your place!

Eggman: What's wrong Tails, don't you trust me?

Author: Wonder Wario

Tails: That,... and your floating castle is totaled.

Author: Golem

Eggman: What?! Where?!

Tails: Over there! ~points to horizon~

~Meanwhile...~

Rach: ~speaking into cheese headset~ How is that cheese ring collection going, Knuckles?

~Elsewhere...~

Knuckles: ~speaking into cheese headset~ I found the wreckage. Beings are here who appear to be taking the rings.

~meanwhile, in Special Zone~

WW: I don't like Special Zone.... I gotta get those emeralds back!

~Back to Golem and Timnis~

~Knuckles quietly walks up to Golem and Timnis from behind~

Knuckles: What do you think you're doing?

Author: Golem

Timnis: Hey, these are ours!

Knuckles: They are Queen Rachel's. ~throws a punch at Timnis' stomach~

Timnis: Woof! ~gets punched back, but before he "dies", his head drops in the bin of rings, giving Timnis a few rings, which he promptly loses~

Golem: Hey! ~lashes scarf at Knuckles, trying to wrap him up, but the attempt fails because Knuckles punches right through Golem's scarf~ Hehe... I'll just leave this to you two, then...

~Meanwhile...~

WW: Okay... there are spiked balls in this one. Gotta be careful... ~pulls back lever carefully, a bunch of spiked balls hit him in the face~

WW: OW! ~pulls the spiked balls off of his face, which leave imprints~ That hurt.....Maybe....

~WW turns the switch back, causing more spiked balls to hit him in the back of his head~

Author: Golem

WW: Owies... okay... there has to be a better way. ~WW uses the lever again, this time to his left. He pulls to the right just before a spiked ball hits him, and the single spiked ball knocks out another.~

~Meanwhile...~

Eggman: Look, it's Knuckles! ...And is that another echidna?

Author: Wonder Wario

Eggman: YOU!

Golem: ME?!

Eggman: Yes you! What's going on here?

Author: Golem

~Meanwhile, Knuckles and Timnis are slugging each other in the background.~

Golem: Knuckles is nuts and he wants this bin of rings! Hey, wait... you're the enemy! Tell me where ESRB is or else!

Eggman: You're in no position to make demands, Scrawny, and besides, I don't have him anymore!

Tails: ESRB! :!!! So that's it!

Golem, Eggman: What?

Tails: Well... ~shows Eggman and Golem the Sonic Adventure 2 box~

Eggman: ...What is it?

Tails: I dunno, but usually there's a letter or something and it's not here! I think ESRB does it!

Golem: It's a game box.

Eggman, Tails: What?

Golem: (I feel like I'm in Sonic Live!) In our universe, you're in what's called "video games." There's some mysterious connection here, an' I don't really get it myself. But, what I do know is that box is from my universe and the disc inside tells the story of you guys. Unfortunately, the right equipment does not exist in this dimension to show you--~gets knocked over by Timnis, who was sent flying by one of Knuckles' punches~

Knuckles: Ooh, that was good.

Timnis: Oof... Sorry, Golem.

Golem: ~rubbing shoulder~ That's ok. Anyway, basically, it's sort of like we're inside one of these CD's, although not this one exactly.

~back in Special Zone~

~WW slowly and carefully walks around Special Zone~

WW: Rach. Rach. Rach. If I'm correct, the chances of me finding her here is 104,098,459,239,764,765 to 1. I'm usually wrong, so she must be here!

Author: Timnis

WW: Hey, I didn't know I could say that number!

WW: Well, if Rach isn't here, maybe I can find another emerald at least.

WW: ...Yeah. Then I won't have dissapointed the guys as much.

~meanwhile~

Tails: So, if wer'e in a video game... then wer'e not really real?

Golem:Well, you are REAL, but, uh..... gosh, this is hard to explain.....

Author: Timnis

Golem: Like I said, we're only sort of in a video game. Oh, I don't know.

Timnis: We're in a different dimention than the actual earth is.

Golem: Yeah, I guess that's right...

Author: Golem

~Knuckles clocks Timnis again~

Golem: Ouch, maybe you should be paying more attention to the fight.

Timnis: @_@ Thanks...

Tails: Eggman, do you have any sort of tracer?

Eggman: It's a good thing I'm wearing this suit! Let me see... ~bends left arm, tracking device comes from left elbow and latches onto one of Knuckles' dreadlocks~ There!

Golem: Need any help, Timnis?!

Author: Timnis

Timnis: Yeah, I'm fine. Am I still supposed to fight?

Golem: If you could hold him off, that would be good.

Timnis: I don't know if I can take much more. I'll just try juking him for now.

Author: Golem

Golem: Fuke him good!

Tails: Wait, Golem...

Golem: Yeah?

Tails: If Timnis doesn't lose, we'll have no way to find Rach's hideout.

Eggman: Plain and simple, Timnis needs to fake it.

Golem: That's a lot better than what I was thinking!

~Timnis gets knocked out cold~

Author: Timnis

Golem: ~casually walks over to Timnis~ ~whispering~ Good job, Timnis. Now we'll get to Rach's hide out for sure. Right Timnis?

Golem: ...Timnis?

Author: Golem

~Knuckles puts his hands on the bin of rings, it disappears, then he digs underground, ground fills itself back in~

Eggman: Okay, now off to my base so that we can find just where he went.

Tails: How do we know this isn't a trap?!

Eggman: Even if it was, do you think you couldn't escape it? You rascals always seem to get out. ~they set off for his base~

~Meanwhile...~

WW: ~sees a door~ What's this? ~reading sign above door~ "EXIT"? ~tries to touch doorknob, gets lightly zapped~

WW: Hey! What was that!? ~touches the knob again and gets zapped even harder~ Hmmmm. Maybe if I... ~touches knob again, and gets shocked even harder than before~ I HATE Special Zone!!

Author: Golem

WW: ~looks around~ Hmm... ~spots a key~ Ah-hah! ~goes over to the key, tries to touch it, but gets shocked, falls back near the lever~ Oh, wait! ~stands up, puts hands on lever~

~mean while at Eggman's base~

Eggman: Hmmm. This is strange.

Golem: What's strange?

Eggman: According to the tracking device, Rach's lair is very close to where my castle was.

Tails: But there was nothing for miles out there.

Timnis: ~waking up~ May.. maybe it's .....underground?

Author: Golem

Golem: Why the stutter?

Timnis: Shut up.

Eggman: Hmm... That's a thought! But, you see, little boy, the radio signal can't pass through ground that well! It would have to be something in the air!

Tails: But how?! We were up in the air and we saw nothing like a base!

Author: Timnis

Golem: Then maybe it doesn't look like a base.

Eggman: That's crazy. I doubt that- Hey, that's right!

Golem: ...What?

Author: Golem

Eggman: Not you! The one with the spikes in his knuckles!

Timnis: Me? You mean it could be underground?

Eggman: Exactly! I've programmed those tracers to leech off of other power sources if need be!

Tails: Can you tell how long the source can give your tracers power?

Eggman: No... which is why we need to work fast if we're going to get to the signal!

Golem: How can you tell where it is?

Eggman: I've made a grid of the entire planet. ~looks at screen, takes out paper, writes something down~

~Meanwhile~

~Bin of rings appears behind Sonic~

Sonic: ~shaking his head~ Ungh... where am I?

Rach: What is it?

Sonic: ~looks to Rach~ Now I remember!

Rach: :eek Uh-oh! ~takes out a block of cheese~ Get a whiff of this! ~holds it at Sonic~

Sonic: ~swats cheese out of Rach's hand~ That's not gonna work any more!

Rach: O.O

~Knuckles digs into the room, lands next to Sonic~

Knuckles: There you are! ~holds fist up to Rach~

Rach: Gah! Not you too! Hmmm... ~thinking~ All I need to do is dive past them into the bin... then, with all those cheese rings, they couldn't possibly defeat me! ~leaps~

~Elsewhere~

Timnis: Look, the signal is gone!

Eggman: It's a good thing I wrote it down on this paper! Come, I can show you to the spot above where they are.
