Yoshiman is a strange Yoshi in a red shorts who is one of the more recurring characters of the Party Goers series. He is known for frequently losing his shorts as well as having several living personalities.
Background[edit]
Yoshiman is a Yoshi creature who was afflicted with Dissociative Identity Disorder, more commonly known as Multiple Personality Disorder. However, he possessed a unique variation of the disorder in that each of his personalities had their own bodies. The three personalities were Mr. Predict, Fuzzball and Wrange Tirk. The latter, strangely enough, was older than Yoshiman by several centuries.
As for Yoshiman himself, he was known for his love of anime, wacky inventions and the red shorts which were the only clothes he wore (but he still often lost them and ran around naked).
Yoshiman at one point joined the Party Goers in their adventures, starting in Party Goers 2 and Party Goers 3: Tropical Bash!. He then disappeared for several OGs, but he eventually resurfaced.
Timeline History[edit]
Good Timeline[edit]
In Party Goers 8: Parting is Such Surprising Sorrow, Yoshi Manfoy appears as leader of the Annoying Dudes, with "Fuzz" and "Tyrkle" as his henchmen. He is described as the son of Bob, Nintendo of America's head, and uses his sway to get away with "beat[ing] people up for arcade money, push[ing] them into the mud on schoolgrounds, run[ning] an underground drug ring, and some people say he once rang the headmaster's doorbell and ran away." He antagonizes Golem at DigiPen, being part of the Shellcreeper house, but appears to be some alternate version of Yoshiman rather than the real deal.
Yoshiman briefly appeared in Gamehiker Member OG as a mystery villain, but forgot his evil plan and let the good guys go, and he also lent them a ride in his Flying Submarine. In Gamehiker Member OG 2: On the Road Again, Yoshiman returned, and this time remembering that his evil plan was to reunite Team Missile (but wound up also recruiting members of Vorpal's other villain team, the V-Team). Once again Yoshiman mostly played chauffer for the Gamehikers with his Flying Submarine. He also appeared in Gamehiker Member OG X: The Shrack of Neely where he was one of the people who had enough nothing to do to actually show up to Masamune's attempted Party Goers reunion party, and wound up going along on the adventure until abducted by Old Golem's men.
Yoshiman still existed three hundred years later in Galaxy Goers. Except this time, he existed as one of the extra personalities of a woman named Anna Zee. He still retained his memories from his previous life, and he confused Luigi of the Stars for his old friend Luiigii of the Pipes.
Bad Timeline[edit]
Yoshiman resurfaced in the Party Goers OGs by the end of the original Party Goers 7, at which point he seemed to return to being a regular in each installment. In Rocketsville, Yoshiman and Mr. Predict joined Team Missile with Vorpal but left to rejoin the Party Goers. However, Vorpal later tried to make them into his minions again through chips planted on them in Party Goers 11, which leads to some inconsistency that later leads to both being split into good and evil halves, a plot point which I have no idea as to whether it was resolved in a later Party Goers. In Party Goers 16: Brave New World, Yoshiman travels with Vorpal after being sent to the new world, where Yoshiman tries to get pointers on being a villain due to feeling like being a villain for a change.
Around 2002 or so, Yoshiman went missing and it seemed that some dark fate was being set up for him but GORE couldn't think of anything cool enough. At some point, Yoshiman's soul was stolen by Lupus (as were the souls of the other Party Goers), and his body was presumably made into one of Lupus's mind slaves like the other Party Goers (although Yoshiman was never actually seen as a mind slave). By the year 2018, Rhyk had gained Yoshiman's soul and kept it in the TASTS. Yoshiman's body was found on the Cheese Star in Member OG 8: This Title is irrelevant, and Luiigii of the Pipes possessed it so he could summon Yoshiman's other personalities to help them.
Neutral Timeline[edit]
Initially Yoshiman appeared in Mega Mega Extreme Doki Doki Panik as part of the Split-Personality Party, helping Fuzzball to run for president.
