Introduced by Golem in Member OG 8: This Title is irrelevant, Mareaeus was originally designated to be Eerie's Warrior of Water and receive the Marine Armor. However, since he was an Incorporal he was turned away, trapped in cheddarnite, and Cerulea took his place.
He meets Yami Yoshi on Yoshi's Island and, with Rhyk, joins him in trying to stop Lupus's latest plot. After picking up Cat, they head to the Cheese Star. I think Mareaeus gets separated from the others and possessed by Dark Cloak, but I'm not sure.
