An extension of the author as a character in an OG. This method of character creation makes writing easier through the illusion that one is writing about a person that actually exists, rather than trying to come up with traits of some abstract character. It also signifies well the fact that all of the writing one does is based on one's own experiences.
Typically the Author Characters shares the same nickname that the author uses on the Forum (with few exceptions).
