+ | Masamune is a pirate that was 'cursed' with immortality. He made his original debut in the Party Goers series and has been seen frequently in the Mega Mega Extreme Doki Doki Panik series as well as the Gamehiker Member OG series. His arch-enemies include Murasame and Donkeyman and he is rarely seen without his sidekick, Dodo.

Although they never saw their father, they had a vague idea of who he was. He was a Scottish Lord who claimed to have been a knight in King Arthur's Court, several centuries ago. Far past the turn of the 16th century, the two twins had grown apart. Agrot had become a sailor whereas Egnar had chosen the path of a swordsman. It became a rivalry between the two to achieve the most fame. One night when they were together, an old man greeted them. He gave them two swords. Though they were little different than the swords of the land, they were said to have been forged by swordsmiths of the Far East. |
Inevitably their paths led them to be enemies. Agrot had been captured and impressed by pirates. Egnar, a fierce enforcer of the law, ended up facing his own brother. The duel took left them both mortally wounded. The old man returned, chastised them, but decided to save them. He placed their souls into the swords he had given them. Being that they were technically dead, they abandoned their old names and decided to take the names of the swords they held. Thus Agrot became known as Masamune. In the centuries that followed, he became a feared pirate on the seas. | Inevitably their paths led them to be enemies. Agrot had been captured and impressed by pirates. − | + | In the 1600s, Masamune was freed thanks to The Ennead. For some reason he and Murasame had both been trapped in their swords and being held in Europe. After he was freed, Masamune caused a lot of trouble until he was eventually sealed back in his sword. He was later freed and by the 1848, Masamune was going by the name of Mune Wayne and lived in the city of Independence in America as a highly skilled salesman. He eventually joined up with a group of settlers led by Luigidiah Kovacs who were on their way to Oregon during Oregon Goers 48.
+ | |||
+ | By the 21st century, he had become a notorious air pirate and was accompanied by Dodo, who would become a sturdy companion and second-in-command in the years to come.

+ | Masamune soon became involved with the disbanded Party Goers when Golem cake-napped Yami's cheesecake in Gamehiker Member OG. His involvement made him a solid member of the group that would become known as the 'Gamehikers'. In Gamehiker Member OG 2: On the Road Again, he ended up once again facing his brother Murasame. Although Murasame defeated Masamune, he was still forced to retreat. By the end of the OG, however, Masamune's new ship - the S.S. Swordefeller had been complete. And so began his dating relationship with Rebe.
− | Masamune | + | In Gamehiker Member OG III: The Search for Splog, Masamune agreed to accompany Mario Jr. on a quest to find Splog, the one goomba who could talk sense into Luiigii. Ultimately it led to a final duel between Masamune and Murasame, which left Murasame trapped in stone beneath the ocean when Masamune attacked him with the Master Pie. In Gamehiker Member OG IV: Cheesecake of the Gods, Masamune teamed up with Vorpal and Marin to form the Three Compañeros. Once more played his part until the S.S. Swordefeller was destroyed by Dark Ditto. To replace it, Masamune decided to steal Murasame's ship (which he now had no need of), the Omnipotence, to take on Dark Ditto. That ship was also destroyed. |
− | In | + | In Gamehiker Member OG V: Hobo Meets Girl, now grounded without a ship to fly, Masamune ended up as yet another extra. He did manage to accomplish starring in the movie 'Untitled', critically acclaimed as the worst movie ever. And he also lost Rebe's affections when she decided to go with Luiigii of the Pipes. Then in Gamehiker Member OG VII: The Undiscovered Subtitle, he had acquired his new Swordefeller had to cope with Dodo joining a sidekick rebellion. He also spontaneously formed a secret villain alliance with Vorpal and SteveT that never really went anywhere. |
− | + | Then in Gamehiker Member OG Sidequest: ENGLAND???, Masamune made a deal with the Donkeyman to get his own talk show on UPN. Donkeyman ultimately tried to betray Masamune to get revenge on him for causing his past misfortunes, but the OGers were able to defeat him and ruin his career as a legitimate businessman - causing Donkeyman to redouble his revenge-swearing.
− | + | Donkeyman soon started hunting Masamune in Gamehiker Member OG VIII: The Final Parody and revived Murasame to help him. Masamune went on the run in his latest Swordefeller and left Vorpal behind to become one of Donkeyman's slaves. Masamune tried making advances on Vorpal's girlfriend Kuria, but she ignored them and ultimately hit on Ditto McCloaker, a real blow to Masa's ego. Masamune then joined the other OGers who escaped the destruction of the Good Timeline, and explored the Bad and Neutral Timelines to find a way to restore the Good Timeline. The Good Timeline was ultimately restored.
+ | |||
+ | Masamune later started dating Luiigii and Rebe's daughter, Ashley(much to their dismay). In 2030, Masamune was the protagonist of Gamehiker Member OG Holiday Special: Merry Christmas Straw Man!. He and Robert Stack were the only people left unaltered after Straw Man used the Cheesecake of the Gods to remodel the world in his own image. Masamune was left uncursed in this new timeline and was supposed to have died. He slowly aged, but was able to eventually find Merlin and get his age restored. He succeeded in defeating Straw Man (with the aid of his various friends), and the world was restored to normal.
+ | |||
+ | Masamune married Ashley not long afterwards. Three years later they had their first son, Dodo. However, in 2037, a freak accident sent Ashley into the future. Dismayed by her loss, Masamune left Dodo in the care of Luiigii and Rebe and left. Though he learned of the Earth's impending destruction in 2065, he was powerless to stop them. Rather than settling at one of the many colonies, he changed careers to become a Space Pirate. It was not until the year 2345 that he found and rescued Ashley, who had been sent forward in time, and engaged in new adventures in Galaxy Goers.
+ | |||
+ | His adventures were short lived, as a chance encounter with SteveT caused him to be sent hurdling into space in a space pod. He was found and captured by Red Ivy, who intended to sell him off to the Nekotians, who had been the victim of many of his plundering and thievery. However she had a change of heart and helped to keep from turning him over, but instead Masamune ended up self-destructing himself on the hull of the Nekotian ship, which destroyed his body - but not his sword, which went hurtling through space and was picked up by Red Ivy.

− | After the Party Goers | + | After the turn of the 21st Century, Masamune first encountered the Party Goers. At first intrigued by them, he soon decided to get rid of them. Though his scheming, he managed to use Sapphire to take over the world in Party Goers 13. This proved tedious and he soon gave away the countries to the Party Goers in a show of good will. Further encounters with the Party Goers eventually caused him to befriend the odd bunch. |
+ | |||
+ | Around 2002/2003, Lupus stole the souls of the Party Goers and made their bodies into his mind slaves. Masamune's soul could not be seperated from his body, but he did not notice this and still became a mind slave to Lupus through the bandwagon effect. Masamune did not notice this until he was battling SwordMaster in the Member OG: Special Edition, in the year 2010. Masamune left Lupus after realizing this. Unfortunately for him, Lupus somehow conned Merlin into giving him Masamune's soul (which eventually went to GORE-ILLA and then Rhyk). During this time, Murasame took the Masamune sword and fused it with his own to turn him into Masamura. It appears that around the year 2018, Rhyk stole the Masamune sword from Murasame and put Masamune's soul back into it; he used the Masamune Sword several times in Member OG 8: This Title is irrelevant.
+ | |||
+ | In 2028, while cruising the skies, he was attacked and boarded by Murasame's vessel, the Omnipotence. In the resulting chaos, the S.S. Swordefeller was destroyed. More devastating was the death of Dodo. Shattered by the loss but not out for the count, he constructed the S.S. Dodo to get revenge. Lt. Snagret became his second-in-command, but not quite as close as Dodo was. Five years later, his travels brought him among the 'Third Generation' OGers that GORE-ILLA was forming he was initially hired by El Cent-Saurio and Chibi-Devil to stop GORE's effects but wound up haging around with them for a while and started fooling around with Luiigii's daughter Ashley. However, their relationship could not progress far before Masamune engaged Murasame in a final battle and succeeded in slaying him. Merlin appeared to tell them that they both failed the test and removed the curse, causing them both to age rapidly and die. However, Agrot, after giving Ashley one last kiss and telling the others to evacuate the ship, managed to hijack the Omnipotence and crash it into Team Rocket Omega's HQ in his last moments. The depowered Masamune sword was afterwards wielded by Ashley in battle.

Towards the 2000 United States election, Masamune made a surprise bid for power in the election as the Birdocrat party with Dodo as his running mate. Having deviously filled the nation's water supply with microscopic explosives, Masamune was able to gain the majority support for most of the campaign. After fierce competition from the Doki Doki Panik party and Murasame's collaboration with the Republican party, Masamune eventually decided to drop out of the election and focus on taking over the world instead. | Towards the 2000 United States election, Masamune made a surprise bid for power in the election as the Birdocrat party with Dodo as his running mate. After the 9/11 attacks on the World Gaming Center, Masamune and Murasame ended up laying low, eventually seizing control of Iraq as the official puppet government. This did not last long and eventually they were expelled. During the 2004 election, Dodo ran alone with Masamune slipping into obscurity. | After the 9/11 attacks on the World Gaming Center, Masamune and Murasame ended up laying low, eventually seizing control of Iraq as the official puppet government. + | =Abilities=
+ | |||
+ | Masamune's primary ability is that he doesn't die. Well, not for good in any case. The curse placed on him by Merlin means that his soul is permanently sealed inside his sword - the Masamune. His physical body is therefor intricately linked to the sword and cannot exist without the sword's presence. His body can be wounded and even killed, but his sword is magical in nature and indestructible (allowing for epic duels with laser swords).
+ | |||
+ | Because the sword contains his soul and essence, he can either take control of a new body (with semi-possession, though not extremely strong) or automatically recreating is original body by coming in contact with the Murasame sword. As a side effect of this, the Masamune and Vorpal sword can react oddly to one another, creating the unusual Vorpamune monster. A final effect of the curse is how the sword can be destroyed, which ultimately involves both Masamune and Murasame's participation. However, this exact method has never been divulged by other. Neither seem to be in a hurry to end their own immortality.
+ | |||
+ | Outside of his curse, Masamune is a skilled swordsman thanks to centuries of experience. He's more durable than most people and has a small bit of magic to him, though nothing significant. He gets along with birds and typically has some kind of bird around to provide him an assist. But since he's generally immortal, this means one of his advantages is his recklessness, since dying isn't a permanent thing for him.
+ | |||
+ | Outside of this, Masamune has a few other key abilities:
+ | |||
+ | *Forgetting and disregarding what timeline he's in.
+ | *Backhanding people through walls.
+ | |||
+ | ==Masa and Mune== | ||
+ | |||
+ | At one point, it seemed like a cool idea to do a parallel of Chrono Trigger by having Masamune break down into two separate entities, Masa and Mune. The original explanation was that Masamune was in fact the fused identity of those two, who usually took on the appearance of children. This has been retconned and mostly forgotten, though embarrassing archived OGs still show that this once happened. The official explanation is that somewhere, somehow Masamune probably experimented with some magic or technology or something that split him into two separate persons (and the same happened to Murasame). But they got better.

Masamune is a pirate that was 'cursed' with immortality. He made his original debut in the Party Goers series and has been seen frequently in the Mega Mega Extreme Doki Doki Panik series as well as the Gamehiker Member OG series. His arch-enemies include Murasame and Donkeyman and he is rarely seen without his sidekick, Dodo.
Background[edit]
Agrot McFeller and his twin brother, Egnar, were born in Scotland.
In the 1600s, Masamune was freed thanks to The Ennead.
By the 21st century, he had become a notorious air pirate and was accompanied by Dodo, who would become a sturdy companion and second-in-command in the years to come.
Timeline History[edit]
Good Timeline[edit]
Masamune soon became involved with the disbanded Party Goers when Golem cake-napped Yami's cheesecake in Gamehiker Member OG.
In Gamehiker Member OG III: The Search for Splog, Masamune agreed to accompany Mario Jr. on a quest to find Splog, the one goomba who could talk sense into Luiigii.
In Gamehiker Member OG V: Hobo Meets Girl, now grounded without a ship to fly, Masamune ended up as yet another extra.
Then in Gamehiker Member OG Sidequest: ENGLAND???, Masamune made a deal with the Donkeyman to get his own talk show on UPN. Donkeyman ultimately tried to betray Masamune to get revenge on him for causing his past misfortunes, but the OGers were able to defeat him and ruin his career as a legitimate businessman - causing Donkeyman to redouble his revenge-swearing.
Donkeyman soon started hunting Masamune in Gamehiker Member OG VIII: The Final Parody and revived Murasame to help him.
Masamune later started dating Luiigii and Rebe's daughter, Ashley(much to their dismay).
Masamune married Ashley not long afterwards.
His adventures were short lived, as a chance encounter with SteveT caused him to be sent hurdling into space in a space pod.
Bad Timeline[edit]
After the turn of the 21st Century, Masamune first encountered the Party Goers.
Around 2002/2003, Lupus stole the souls of the Party Goers and made their bodies into his mind slaves.
In 2028, while cruising the skies, he was attacked and boarded by Murasame's vessel, the Omnipotence.
Neutral Timeline[edit]
Towards the 2000 United States election, Masamune made a surprise bid for power in the election as the Birdocrat party with Dodo as his running mate. Having deviously filled the nation's water supply with microscopic explosives, Masamune was able to gain the majority support for most of the campaign. After fierce competition from the Doki Doki Panik party and Murasame's collaboration with the Republican party, Masamune eventually decided to drop out of the election and focus on taking over the world instead.
Although Dodo took a position as Secretary of Education (since Vorpal was giving the positions away), Masamune teamed up with his twin brother Murasame to take over the world. Their many schemes included asking for foreign aid for made up islands, causing a second Civil War (which also became the second War of Independance) by allying with England and literally separating the states from the mainland. Although the country was returned to normal, this has the direct consequence of Wyoming being left out in the Pacific and being bought by Japan.
Abilities[edit]
Masamune's primary ability is that he doesn't die.
Because the sword contains his soul and essence, he can either take control of a new body (with semi-possession, though not extremely strong) or automatically recreating is original body by coming in contact with the Murasame sword.
Outside of his curse, Masamune is a skilled swordsman thanks to centuries of experience. He's more durable than most people and has a small bit of magic to him, though nothing significant. He gets along with birds and typically has some kind of bird around to provide him an assist. But since he's generally immortal, this means one of his advantages is his recklessness, since dying isn't a permanent thing for him.
Outside of this, Masamune has a few other key abilities:
- Forgetting and disregarding what timeline he's in.
- Backhanding people through walls.
Masa and Mune[edit]
At one point, it seemed like a cool idea to do a parallel of Chrono Trigger by having Masamune break down into two separate entities, Masa and Mune.
Variations[edit]
- Masamune (the Red)
Masamune's awesome color alternate in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Q: Sakurai, is it true Masa invented gravity?
A: Yes, in fact he did it twice in a row at the same time. But don't ask him to do it again because his brother died that way.
Masamune from Gamehikers appears on the scene! Like Peach pulls out a loyal Toad to shield herself, Masa will pull out a "loyal" Golem to use as a shield. The difference is that it will happen everytime you try to hit Masa automatically, so yeah if you're up against him, you're screwed.
You can always count on Masa to backhand fear into the hearts of men, women, children, and Golem everywhere. Mostly the women and Golem.
- Headmaster Mune
Featured in Gamehiker High Univeristy, Headmaster Mune is a graduate from Ye Olde Institution High back in the day. He ended up starting his own high school/university. For some reason he has developed a hatred for women and only allows three girls in his school due to state requirements. He seeks to defeat his rival, Dean Ditto, at school competitions. Unintentionally attracted to Rebe. Prone to yelling "PAAAARTY GOOOOERS!!!" when his students do him wrong (and sometimes even if his students have nothing to do with his troubles).
- Masamune, GHN Reporter
Reporter for Gamehiker News as seen in Nichibutsu of Norwegia. His cameraman is Dodo. Easily impressed by whoever he is interviewing, Masamune does not favor any console company. Gets all the gaming exclusives.
- Masamune S-X42
Masamune is portrayed as an extremely rare robot prototype in The Party Goers. Extremely upbeat and friendly, he instantly took a liking to Golem. Tends to refer to humans as 'fleshlings' and feels the need to observe everything to update his programming. Bathhurst tends to cause his logic circuits to heat up.
- Masamune the Plumber
In Lord of the Parties, Masamune is a plumber (a parody role of Gimli) in the Fellowship. In this universe, his father is Murasame for some reason. Like all plumbers, he is deeply suspicious of Hylians.
- Mr. Mune
Mr. Mune is a simple suburban man with simple suburban pleasures. Mr. Mune is technically Masamune's suburban alias in any other continuity during neighborhood barbecues. However, Mr. Mune goes nuts and decides to capture every Pokemon ever in Pokemon OG so he can bring the poor animals back. In this version he is extremely violent and prone to using violence to beat up little kids.
