I think if you were in a Party Goers or early Fanventures or just posted in OGs around that time, then you're considered First Generation?
The original group of OGers. This generation actually lasted a very short time, though some of the more prolific authors can trace their debut here. This generation was notable for the long running Party Goers series and was likely the most active of any OG generation. It also contributed the first Final Fantasy OG and the esteemed Super Mario Bros. Adventure, one of the only prose OGs to ever actually end. Mega Mega Extreme Doki Doki Panik, Rocketsville, and The Life and Adventures of Miyamoto originated in this era. It was effectively ended when VGF crashed and the First Generation moved to Gamehiker EZBoard forums.
