Yoshiyami was obsessed with Yu-Gi-Oh so gave his character an identical background to Yugi Moto of the same show's (in)fame. Pharoah Yami Yoshi was his ANCIENT EGYPTIAN ANCESTOR HIDDEN IN HIS MILLENIUM EGG AND CONTROLLING HIM and when he was exorcised he was basically the Yang to Yami's Yin. A bit of an asshole. He beats up Fred in MOG4, and eventually is reassimilated into Yami when he kinda dies but not entirely. He is commonly fused with Yami Yoshi from the second MOG to the third to become the fearsome Twin Head Yami Yoshi but eventually you know that had to stop.
