Robobulus
Full Name: Security Drone Class ZZZ
Birthdate: A very long time ago, sometime after Introbulus's
Species: Reploid
Nationality: Neo-Norfair
Creator: Introbulus
First Appearance: Member OG 5: Secret of the Ooze
Background
Robobulus was created in Neo-Norfair. Originally, he was meant to be just another defense mechanism, but the scientists who were working on him decided that, instead of making model after model of advanced robotic guards, they would make a robot so powerful that the idea of attacking Neo-Norfair would seem ridiculous to anyone. To this end, they realized that this robot would need power over metal, so that it would easily outclass other robots. There was only one place where they could find such power, and as luck would have it, he was on the planet at the time.
The scientists confronted Introbulus, and told him that they were making a supreme peace-keeping robot in a secret laboratory called Neo-Norfair. They asked for his help, and Introbulus, having a strong sense of justice and being easily fooled, agreed to help create the robot, under the condition that it would look exactly like him, save the eyes, so that he wouldn't confuse himself.
The scientists made the outer shell, added some nifty fighting features, and programmed the robot to be a perfectly obedient killing machine. Introbulus embedded his powers into Robobulus. The scientist's plan worked. They had successfully created a robot who had the ability to control other robots and shatter most metals. That's when things started to go awry.
As soon as Robobulus was activated, he realized that, because he had been built by imperfect human hands, his design was flawed. So he "fixed" and "reprogrammed" himself to be a more efficient killer. To this end, he gave himself the ability to think and act exactly like a human, similar to a reploid. He also gave himself an imitation copy of the Maverick virus, deeming it useful in his goal. These two combined convinced him that the humans who had programmed him were his enemies, so he quickly dispatched the scientists. Before he could do likewise to Introbulus, an alarm rang out, and he had to make an escape. He left Introbulus behind to deal with all the old robot guards. (They had been given orders to kill Introbulus after he was done with Robobulus). Halfway through the battle, Neo-Norfair began to fall apart, and Intro. was buried in rubble.
After that, Robobulus went off to do some evil. He didn't meet up with Introbulus for another 100 years. They fought, of course, and Introbulus managed to gain the upper hand, smashing Robob into microscopic pieces. However, the scientists had installed an auto-repair system in Robobulus to make every part of Robobulus right down to subatomic particles attach themselves properly. Coupled with the power over metal, Robobulus can regenerate himself even when he's been broken down into practically nothing, he can always re-assemble himself, even if it takes thousands of years to do so.
Bad Timeline
Robobulus later joined up with the MPVP to oppose Introbulus and his allies in the OG Six. Early in Member OG 5: Secret of the Ooze, Robobulus and Dark Jim were planted among the OGers, disguised as Introbulus and Jim. They succeeded in luring Yami Yoshi, GORE-ILLA and Pharoah Yami Yoshi into a trap set by Phil. Later on, Robobulus took an oppurtunity to achieve his ultimate objective when he met an unconcious Introbulus, and successfully killed him.
Robobulus continued working with the MPVP in Member OG 6: VGF Moon. At one point Introbulus was revived and forced to work with the MPVP. To follow his code of always opposing Introbulus, Robobulus then left the MPVP and joined up with the OGers. He helped them in their battles, but he remained focused on his ultimate goal of killing Introbulus. At one point he split off from the OGers to battle Introbulus again, after sending the Robot Team flying into space. Introbulus succeeded in destroying Robobulus, but commented that he might be able to re-form his body. Re-form his body, Robobulus did. He was later seen in Introbulus's custody, and Introbulus brought Robobulus to the MPVP's prison on Krad.
Robobulus was never mentioned again in the series. Krad's destruction might have destroyed Robobulus for good or at least kept him busy reforming himself for another thousand years- but that's assuming Robobulus was still on Krad at the time.
