The '''Nintendo Power''' cartridge system (not to be confused with the official American Nintendo magazine, Nintendo Power) was a Japanese service that allowed people to download games onto blank [[Super Nintendo]] or [[Gameboy]] cartridges. The service lasted from 1997 to 2007 and was available at a Japanese chain of convenience stored called Loppis. Some Nintendo games were only available as Nintendo Power downloads while others were also available as a cartridge.
