Once promoted into a Berserker, he becomes much more powerful and capable of performing critical hits more frequently.

It is revealed through his support conversations with [[Wil]] and [[Rebecca]] that he was not always a pirate. In fact he had once been a boy named Dan and was the older brother of Rebecca and the best friend of Wil. When he and Wil set out on an adventure, the two ended up parting ways. After Dan was set upon by ruffians, he was left for dead and lost his memory, which led to him being found by Fargus and becoming a pirate on the ''Davros''.
