-Hitmonchan is one of the three potential evolution paths that Tyrogue undergoes upon reaching Level 20. Tyrogue will evolve into Hitmonchan if its Defense is higher than its Attack, thus indicating that Hitmonchan has the highest defense of the three Hitmon Pokémon.
-It specializes in punches and is said to have the spirit of a boxer whom had been working towards a world championship, being known for its determination and never giving up. When it is apparently doing nothing, Hitmonchan is actually firing punches in lighting fast volleys which are impossible to see. They punch in a corkscrew fashion and can punch through concrete walls like a drill. Its punches slice the air and are fast enough that they can burn opponents just by grazing them.
