'''Iron Knuckles''' are a type of recurring enemy in the ''[[Portal: The Legend of Zelda|The Legend of Zelda]]'' series. They are large armored warriors who are commonly found as guardians for palaces, dungeons, and temples. Thanks to their thick armor and skilled combat skills, they are difficult to defeat.

=Information=

In ''[[Zelda II: The Adventure of Link|Adventure of Link]]'', Iron Knuckles wield a sword and shield and fight at close range. The blue variations can shoot sword beams like Link. The boss "[[Enemies in The Adventure of Link|Rebonack]]" is also an Iron Knuckle that rides a floating armored horse. Statues of Iron Knuckles also appeared by most dungeons. These statues would usually yield useful objects like magic containers, but in some cases they would turn out to be real Iron Knuckles in disguise.

In ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time|Ocarina of Time]]'', Iron Knuckles were larger armored warriors that instead wielded large battle-axes in combat. Link fought four Iron Knuckles during his quest.  The first one had to be fought by Link while he was a child, while the rest were battled as an adult, including particularly strong ones in [[Ganon]]'s Tower. After [[Nabooru]] had been caught by [[Twinrova]], she was transformed into an Iron Knuckle for seven years until Link defeated her and set her free in the Spirit Temple. *[[Onox]] in ''[[The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons|Oracle of Seasons]]'' wears armor identical to those worn by the Iron Knuckles in ''Ocarina of Time'' and ''Majora's Mask''.
