Cranidos evolves into Rampardos at Level 30. Rampardos was known as a brute that tore down jungle trees while hunting down prey. It has a headbutt powerful enough to shatter even the most durable objects upon impacts due to its skull being as hard as iron. Rampardos's foot-thick skulls could withstand impacts of any magnitude, which also gives their brains no chance to grow. Its skull is thick enough that two of them could ram their heads together without fainting.

Rampardos has not been found in the wild and can only be obtained by evolving a Cranidos (which itself can only be revived from a Skull Fossil).

Rampardos could only be obtained through evolution in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness. In Pokémon Ranger: Shadows of Almia, it was found at Peril Cliffs. In Pokémon Ranger: Guardian Signs, it appeared at Rasp Cavern and the Thunder Temple. Rampardos also appeared in Pokémon Rumble at the Fiery Furnace.

*In the Pokémon anime, Roark's Cranidos evolved into a Rampardos when fighting Team Rocket after Roark had made several appearances in the Sinnoh series. Roark used it for his gym battle with Ash, where it lost to his Turtwig. Roark later used it in battle against his father's Bastiodon.

*In the Pokémon Adventures manga, Roark's Cranidos evolves into Rampardos during the Diamond/Pearl arc at some point between his gym battle with Platina and the group's arrival at Canalave City. He continued to use it as one of his main Pokémon.

Trivia
*Its name seems to be a combination of "rampart" (a type of fortress, likely due to its defensive skull) with "dos" (which is commonly used as a suffix for dinosaur names), although its name could additionally be referring to "ram", "hard" and/or "rampage".
