Snover usually live on snowy mountains and are "boldly inquisitive" due to their limited contact with humans. Their curiosity about people causes them to gather around human footsteps that they find in the snow. Snover migrate the the lower reaches of their respective mountains during cold seasons and only return to the snow-covered summit during the spring. During spring, Snover grow berries with the texture of frozen fruits around their berries.

Snover evolves into Abomansnow at Level 40.

*In the ''Pokémon Adventures'' manga, Snover was featured as one of Candice's Pokémon, but it was defeated by Platina's [[Empoleon]] with ease.
