I have been wanting to do this for a while, but it might result to be too big for just one page so I need advices. Should I add this content or am I overkilling it? Should I divide it by types, Generation, power or something else? What do you guys think? [[User:Smash Brother|Smash Brother]] 19:58, 16 October 2007 (MDT)

:It looks good. The first version is better (since it's a wiki, explanation is better than factoids), but I would separate it by type.-[[User:Masamune|Masamune]] 18:48, 20 October 2007 (MDT)

==Regarding Bulbasaur==

I think that works. Although to make life a little easier, we can add in some code to the infobox template to make the "X Color Pokemon" automatic. That would work for the egg groups and abilities if they didn't come in multiples...-[[User:Masamune|Masamune]] 11:52, 27 October 2007 (MDT)

: I thought of that once but the problem with that is that sometimes the automatic categories don't add some pages even if the system of the Wiki knows that it goes there. I have seen some other wikis that by not adding them manually sometimes the Category counts 50 articles but only shows 48 and other errors. Besides, it is better against vandalism because a minor modification to the infobox creates categories that are more difficult to manage than small changes. :: It actually takes the Wiki a while for it to catch up to a huge category change like that. If you'll note the Pokemon Stub category I created last night, it took awhile for the Wiki to fully populate it. Besides that, I can always put the Infobox on protected status.-[[User:Masamune|Masamune]] 12:02, 27 October 2007 (MDT)

==Infobox - Types==

My plan of action for implementing the type images:

* Create a second field, so we have

** |type=Grass<br>|type2=Poison

This will make the images automatic (less work overall) and means the only Pokemon pages that need edited are dual types. Alternatively, we'd have to include <nowiki>[[Image:Grass.gif]][[Image:Poison.gif]]</nowiki> over and over  (or <nowiki>{{Grass}}</nowiki> if we did it as a template). This could have been used for categorization, but we've already got that out of the way, so that's not an issue. If you like that, then I'll go ahead and start putting the type images up. -[[User:Masamune|Masamune]] 11:27, 29 October 2007 (MDT)

:Well, I was not planning to use the images in the PKMN pages, but if you want I can do it, eventually.[[User:Smash Brother|Smash Brother]] 18:57, 29 October 2007 (MDT)

::Oh, what was your plan?-[[User:Masamune|Masamune]] 22:33, 29 October 2007 (MDT)

:::For the move chart (or rather, move templates) and for a comparative chart. Have you seen the Bug Type category? I'm thinking of doing that in just one row instead of 17 or less. [[User:Smash Brother|Smash Brother]] 11:49, 30 October 2007 (MDT)
