*In the Super Smash Bros. series, Victini has appeared as a Poké Ball Pokémon (summoned from a Master Ball) starting in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS/Wii U. When summoned, it uses Victory Star and departs, but the effect of Victory Star has changed between its appearances. In the 3DS/Wii U game, it gave the player a temporary boost in attack power and knockback immunity, while in Ultimate, it merely bestowed the player with a Final Smash. In the 3DS/Wii U game, Victini also had to be unlocked before it could appear (by playing 100-Man Smash in the 3DS game or by clearing All-Star Mode in the Wii U game).

**Victini has also been represented by a trophy in the 3DS/Wii U game and a Legend-rank Support Spirit (with the effect of granting hyper smashes to the fighter) in Ultimate. When fought against in a Spirit battle, Victini's Spirit would possess an Incineroar, which would start the battle by summoning Victini from a Master Ball, thus allowing it to start the battle with a Final Smash. The player fighter was also under the effect of being easier to launch during the battle.

*Victini was featured in the fifteenth movie of the Pokémon anime, where its storyline was the same in both versions. It was shown to serve the Kingdom of Vale in the past, but the kingdom deteriorated over the years, and Victini was confined to the area due to protective barriers. It became known as the guardian of Eindoak Town when it was eventually built there. Within the movie, Victini yearned to be free and eventually informed Ash of this after it befriended their group. Damon tried to control Victini over the course of the movie as part of a plot to revive Vale, but in the end Victini and Ash's group (with some help from Reshiram or Zekrom) destroyed the barriers. Victini spent some time playing with Ash's group before setting off on its own.
