Neimi is a playable unit in Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones and the only recruitable archer.

Background

When Neimi was still young, her mother passed away from an illness. Her mother had been a high-ranking member of the clergy and left Neimi a special mirror, a rare artifact that signified her rank. It is unknown what became of her father, but she ended up being raised by her grandfather, Zethla, a famous archer with incredible skill who was known as Single Arrow Zethla due to the fact he could hit anything. Neimi never knew her grandfather was famous or that Renais had many times tried to recruit him.

She was taught to use the bow as well and made friends with a local boy, Colm, who would often steal the fruit from her grandfather's trees. Ever the sentimental type and very insecure, she was prone to break down in tears, especially because of Colm's teasing nature. Growing up in Lark, she raised a pet fox for awhile and always had Colm around to protect her from bullies and save her from dangers, such as the time she fell into a river. Her grandfather eventually passed away, but she had Colm to help her get through it.

This life however was eventually shattered when Grado declared war on Renais and decimated its army. With no military protection, the village of Lark was razed by a group of bandits and only Neimi and Colm managed to survive the destruction. But one Colm learned that Neimi had left her mirror, he went off on his own to steal it back from the bandits, leaving Neimi alone to fend for herself. She was fortunate enough to come across Princess Eirika and her entourage and accompanied them to the bandit's lair, lending them the use of her skills. After the bandits were defeated and she was reunited with Colm, the two decided to join their army. The two journeyed with Eirika and Ephraim until Grado's defeat.

Possible Fates

Neimi has two different endings, depending on whether she reaches A-Support with Colm.

• Default Ending - Neimi returned to Lark and spent a few years there in peace and quiet. Eventually she moved to the capital of Renais and became an archery instructor for the military, though she never got over her tearful nature.
• Colm and Neimi Ending - The two friends became lovers and were eventually wed. Because Colm worried for Neimi's safety and well-being, he gave up his adventurous way and settled down. The two would have a son and daughter who would inherit their mother's skill in archery.

Support Conversation Summaries

Neimi is capable of Support conversations with five other characters.

• Colm- Neimi greets Colm on the battlefield, but he admonishes her for exchanging pleasantries on the battlefield. He then reflects how odd it is to see her on the battlefield given how she used to follow him everywhere tripping and crying... and how she's now doing the same thing on the battlefield, which drives her to start crying. Later when they meet, Colm compliments Neimi on her skill with a bow and they reflect on how Colm used to steal from her grandfather's fruit trees. Neimi notes that Colm hasn't changed much since then and still tends to over exaggerate. In their final conversation, Neimi reminisces over how Colm has always been there for her and she admits that she likes him a lot. He tells her that if anyone ever bothers her, he'll take care of them for her. Though she starts crying again, this time she says it's for other reasons. Colm tells her from then on, that he's the only one allowed to make her cry.
• Gilliam - In their first conversation, Neimi points out to Gilliam that there is a dent in his armor and worries that he might be exposing a weakspot, but Gilliam explains that each scratch on his armor is a mark of pride from the stories they hold. Later Gilliam compliments Neimi on her keen marksmanship and she explains how her grandfather taught her to increase her eyesight by focusing on faraway things and. Eventually Gilliam tries out her technique for looking far away, but says that people and animals begin to avoid him when he's staring because of how scary he appears. After Neimi tries to make him seem less scary by recommending he smile and hold flowers, he concludes that it's better to just rely on her keen skills instead.
• Garcia - When Neimi tries to approach Garcia, she finds him in the middle of a training regiment to focus on battle and he quickly dismisses her so she won't get hurt. When they meet later, Garcia recognizes the gauntlet Neimi wears and discovers that she is the granddaughter of Zethla, the famous marskman. After learning this, Garcia says he is encouraged to have her on his side and that he'll be counting on her. In their final conversation, the two talked about lost loved ones in regards to Garcia's wife and Neimi's family. Garcia ends up giving Neimi a haircomb that he was never able to give to his wife, saying that it'll give her a reason to use the mirror she has.
• Amelia -Neimi greets Amelia be pointing the lovely shade her armor is and how it reminds her of a certain berry that grew in her hometown, the two end up befriending one another and decide to meet again soon. The two later talk about why Amelia joined the army, which Amelia says was because she used to feel helpless and didn't want to feel that way. Neimi comments that she received her training from her grandfather and ends up talking about a pet fox she used to own, prompting Amelia to talk about a bird she used to own. In their final conversation, the two begin talking about different men that they are interested in. Neimi alludes to the fact she's in love with Colm, though Amelia is less revealing about the man she's interested in.
• Artur - When Neimi greets Artur, he immediately notices the mirror she carries and presses her for information, as such a mirror would only belong to a high ranking member of the clergy. When they speak later, Artur compliments Neimi's archery skills, but notices that the mirror is missing. The two look around the battlefield for it, but in the end are unable to find it. Later Artur approaches Neimi after having learned that the convoy master had found the mirror and gives it back to her. Artur relates the incident to when he was a child and having lost a toy, was treated kindly by an old monk who spent an entire day trying to cheer him up, which was what led Artur to joining the clergy. He then goes on to comment that people tend to reflect emotions like a mirror and that the reason Neimi is treated kindly by people is because she, as a kind person, brings out that quality in others.
