Ludwig Von Koopa is the oldest child of Bowser. In SMB3, he attempted to take over Pipe Land and turned the King of Pipe Land into a Piranha Plant. In Super Mario World, he was the fourth boss to be defeated by Mario who would cross the Butter Bridge to get to him. He was curiously absent after his appearance in Mario is Missing and Hotel Mario until 2003, in which he had made his last appearance in Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga and was one of the mini-bosses in Bowser's Castle.
