The Super Scope was a light gun for the Super Nintendo. Resembling a bazooka, it was wireless and used an infrared sensor to detect where the player was aiming. The Super Scope uses six double AA batteries.
Criticism[edit]
The Super Scope didn't sell very well. People complaining because it was cumbersome and didn't have a long battery life. Also, there weren't many compatible games.

- The Super Scope appears in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl as an item that can be used in combat. It can fire off small energy balls as well as more powerful charged blasts.
