bit Generations is a set of games for the Game Boy Advance that was released only in Japan. The games are simple and have a retro style. They were sold in 2 series at a discount price. Nintendo primarily promoted the games with the Game Boy Micro.
The name was based on the Touch Generations label for Nintendo DS games. An early 2005 trailer called the series Digitylish. At one point, the series was planned to come overseas under the Digiluxe moniker, which was confirmed by the ESRB and several stickers in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The series was succeeded by the Art Style games.
