F-1 Race is a racing game developed and published by Nintendo.
Gameplay[edit]
Players get to choose between two cars and race them on tracks near famous capitols. In Grand Prix Mode, the player must try to outrank his opponents and pass the finish line before time runs out. Checkpoints add more time to the clock. In Time Trial, players try to beat their own best times. There is also a multiplayer mode.
Nintendo added some of their popular characters to the game, cheering at the end. Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Princess Peach, Toad, Link, Samus Aran, Pit, and Donkey Kong all cheer the player on at some point.
Legacy[edit]
Ports and Remakes[edit]
- F-1 Race was later rereleased on the Nintendo Power system.
