The NES/Gameboy Adventures
Kirby's adventures begin when King Dedede steals all of the food in Dream Land. Kirby decides to get it back. Kirby and King Dedede meet in the ring and battle it out. Having won, Kirby returned the food to the inhabitants of Dream Land.
Later, Kirby was taking a nap when he woke up without having a dream. Suspicious, he visits the Fountain of Dreams to discover King Dedede has stolen the Star Rod and broken it into seven pieces. Kirby traveled across Dream Land and recovered the pieces. Upon putting them together, a dark aura called Nightmare appeared. He had corrupted the Star Rod and King Dedede was trying to protect Dream Land. Kirby manages to defeat Nightmare and restore peace to Dreamland.
The SNES/Gameboy Adventures
Kirby's next adventure is to save the rainbows that connect the islands of Dream Land. King Dedede is behind it, but he's possessed by a being called Dark Matter. With the help of Rick the Hamster, Coo the Owl, and Kine the Ocean Sunfish, Kirby is able to defeat Dark Matter.
Kirby's next adventure was to defeat Dyna Blade, a giant bird terrorizing the land. Upon defeating the bird, he discovered she has chicks and helped raise them.
Next, Kirby went to discover the Great Cave Offensive. He got lost and had to find his way out. By the time he was out, he had found a lot of treasure.
After that, Meta Knight tried to take over Dream Land using his airship Halberd. Kirby boarded the ship with the help of Dyna Blade. He got knocked off, but managed to get back on and defeat Meta Knight.
Having defeated Meta Knight, Kirby had to defeat Marx, who wants to conquer the galaxy. Kirby managed to revive NOVA, who will grant one wish. Marx, however, managed to get his wish before Kirby did. Kirby, however, managed to defeat a much more powerful Marx.
Having returned to Popstar, Kirby has little time to relax before trouble rears its heads. Dark Matter has once again taken over King Dedede. Kirby, along with friends, managed to defeat him.
