Emboar is a large pig-like Pokémon introduced in the fifth generation games as the third final stage of Tepig's evolutionary line.
Information
Emboar evolves from Pignite at Level 36. It becomes much larger and most noticeably grows a beard of fire. It is a fierce Pokémon that has mastered fast and powerful fighting moves. Emboar is able to throw fire punches by lighting its fists on fire with its flaming beard. Despite its intimidating appearance, Emboar are known to care deeply for their friends.
Appearances
Mainstream Games
Emboar can only be obtained by evolving a Pignite.
Trivia
- Its name is a play on "ember" (a type of fire as well as the namesake for a basic Fire-type move) combined with "boar" (which refers to a type of pig).
