So, you want to help with a Pokémon Stub page? It sure seems like a lot of work but a little help can go a long way. The main goal for the information of the species in the Gamehiker Wiki is to apply a single format for all 649 of them. Any help is appreciated for it is a lot of work but our main goal is to make the most complete and up to date Pokédex in the net. As a general rule copying and pasting from other sites MUST BE AVOIDED as much as possible, information should come from self experience or in the best case scenario from text/info dumps. The exception would for statistics, as most sites have the exact same statistics listed for Pokemon. If the need to add something that is only reported in one other site is much and feels like an important addition then at least 3 or 4 sources must be checked in order to ensure the veracity of the data.
Anyway, to the start of the document:
The very first thing must be the Pokémon Template, starts in the first line and includes the following information:
{{Pokémon |name= (Name of the Pokémon) |specie= (Classification used on all Pokedexes) |type= (First elemental type) |type2= (Second elemental type, if any) |kanto#= (National Dex number, every specie has one) |johto#= (Contains all 1st and 2nd generations) |hoenn#= (Contains all 3rd generation and some previous) |sinnoh#= (Contains most but not all 4th generation and some prevous) |prevolve= (Specie from which this Pokémon comes before evolution) |evolve= (Specie to which this Pokémon goes after evolution) |color= (Classification in the game code of which color group it is) |height= (Written as "0.0 m (0'00")") |weight= (Written as "0.0 kg (0.0 lbs.)") |abi= (Special trait that a Pokémon has for being of a certain specie) |abi2= (Special trait that the same specie might have 50% of the time other than abi, if any) |abi3=(Hidden/Dream World abilities that were introduced in the fifth generation) |genr= (Gender rate, number of males for every female, as x♂ : y♀ or Genderless. All ♂ and All ♀ also apply) |egg= (Egg group to which a spece is part) |egg2= (Secondary egg group, if any) |hp= (Base HP, seen in game code) |at= (Base Attack, seen in game code) |de= (Base Defense, seen in game code) |sp= (Base Speed, seen in game code) |sa= (Base Sp. Attack, seen in game code) |sd= (Base Sp. Defense, seen in game code) |debut= (First generation as pair of games) |}}
The template also has to be modified in a few ways; one is that it has to have modifications to account for different forms. An example would be Shaymin's entry, where there needs to be in a way to show in a template that its Sky Forme and Sky Forme only is part Grass and part Flying. Additionally, although I added the Hidden Ability template, I have not found a way to make it appear only when something is entered for it; for example, Pokemon such as Mew have no hidden abilities yet the Hidden Ability field still shows up on its page regardless of whether or not something has been entered for it.
Line after the end of the first template the article must start with the name of the Pokémon in blacks, followed by a quick introduction of it as a Pokemon, giving quick basic information (such as the animal it resembles), the generation it hails from, general evolution information and specific items of importance (such as whether it is a starter, legendary and/or version mascot). Ex:
Bulbasaur is the first Pokémon listed in the Pokédex and one of the original three starter Pokémon offered by Professor Oak in the beginning of Pokémon Red, Green, Blue, FireRed and LeafGreen Versions.
=Information=
A description of the specie which sums up the information presented in the Pokedex entries from the various games, as well as some description of the Pokemon's other unique traits that are not mentioned (such as if it has two heads or some such). Storyline information should also go here as well, although I have had some internal debate about which storyline information belongs here and which belongs under Appearances. One example would be for a legendary Pokemon such as Rayquaza, its backstory which is detailed in the game would definitely go in this section. However, the role that it actually plays in the game (prior to being available for capture) could qualify for either section, as it describes information about the specie's history and also the role it plays within a particular game.
This section should also contain specific information on how it evolves and/or how it was made to evolve as well information about alternate forms. Also a "Gender difference" chart must be added and explain the differences if any.
Pokedex tables were added into a variety of entries ages ago. These should be scrapped, as they are superfluous to an encyclopedia which is already summarizing this information. Especially since most Pokedex entries over the generations are repetitive. The purpose of this encyclopedia is to distill that information (and acknowledge the inconsistencies) so that it would be easy for readers to understand information about the Pokemon.
(Should make this one later)

==Mainstream Games==
Paragraph about where or how a Pokémon can be obtained in the all of the generation games' color versions. May also contain information about specific storyline roles that certain Pokemon play within games. In the beginning, I also used to mention important trainers who also owned the Pokemon in each generation (such as how Lance owns a Charizard for the second gen Elite Four battles), but this may be too much work to pull off and could make the section grow too wordy.
