Monferno is a swift flame-tailed monkey-like Pokémon that was introduced in the fourth generation games. It is the middle form of Chimchar's evolutionary line and evolves into Infernape.
Information[edit]
Monferno evolves from Chimchar at Level 14. It can use its fiery tail as a weapon and can control the fire's intensity to keep foes away by stretching out the fire to make itself appear bigger. Monferno can also utilize walls and ceilings to launch aerial attacks. Monferno with bigger fires and brighter blue patterns on their faces wind up with higher ranks in their packs.
It evolves into Infernape at Level 36.
