Helmet (released as Headache in Europe) is a Game & Watch game. It's part of the "Gold" series.
Information[edit]
The player controls a man trying to cross the street. As he crosses the street, various objects are falling from the sky. The player must dodge the objects. If they get hit three times, the game is over. Game A is the easier mode. In Game B, the objects fall faster.
Legacy[edit]
One of Mr. Game & Watch's moves are based on Helmet. The Flat Zone stage from Super Smash Bros. Melee is also partially based on Helmet.
Ports and Remakes[edit]
- Game & Watch Gallery 2 featured Helmet as one of it's games. This version included both the original Classic Mode and a new Modern Mode. In the Modern Mode, the player controlled Mario (or Wario if certain conditions were met) in one of three different areas, dodging items tossed by classic Mario enemies such as Paratroopas, Fly Guys and Thwomps.
- Helmet was released for the DSi as downloadable DSiWare.
