Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree is a series of minigames to keep the player's mind sharp.
Gameplay[edit]
Big Brain Academy is made up of fifteen different minigames divided into five categories: Identify, Memorize, Analyze, Compute, and Visualize. The player is scored on how quickly and accurately they answer. The better they do, the more grams their brain weighs.
Test Mode gives the player sixty questions, some from each category. This is the mode used to calculate the weight of the player's brain. Test Mode lets the player practice the games on various difficulty levels.
There are also several group modes. Mind Sprint requires every question be answered correctly and will have the player answer again if the player gets a question wrong. Mental Marathon goes for a limited time, but stops if the player answers a question wrong. Brain Quiz lets players choose a category and answer questions from that category until they get a question wrong.
Players can exchange records over WiiConnect24.
Legacy[edit]
Dr. Lobe appears as a sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
Trivia[edit]
- Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree is going to appear on Are You Smarter Than a Canadian Fifth Grader? The $25,000 question has been renamed the Big Brain Academy Question and is expected to incorporate elements of the game.
