Flagship was an independent developer that was funded by Capcom, Sega, and Nintendo and was founded by game designer Yoshiki Okamoto. The company was primarily a division of Capcom and was dedicated to creating titles in the Zelda series and Kirby series (among other games). Their games were primarily developed on Nintendo handhelds, despite a few console releases. After the completion of their last game, Kirby Squeak Squad, the company was dissolved on June 1st, 2007.
