Skitty is even known to playfully chase after its own tail and become dizzy. In battle, it makes its tail puff out and threatens foes with a sharp growl. Skitty are valued as pets due to their adorable behavior, although it is actually hard to gain one's trust.
It evolves into Delcatty when exposed to a Moon Stone.

In Pokémon: Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald Versions, Skitty could be rarely found at Route 116. In Ruby and Sapphire, a Skitty could also be obtained by trading a Pikachu to a trainer at Fortree City.
