Wario got his very own franchise that stars him as a hero in 1993. For many reasons, Wario has his own "Wario Ware Games" which are simply microgames. In Wario Land 4, Wario discovered a newspaper that talked about the ancient pyramid that contained a princess in a comatose state, who was Princess Shokora. He encountered the Golden Diva, who was just a greedy ghost spirit who hides her true face with many masks.
