It is a remake of Fire Emblem: Ankoku Ryuu to Hikari no Tsurugi and features Marth as the main character. It was announced in October 2007 during the Nintendo Conference 2007. The game does not include the second book from Monshō no Nazo. However the characters removed from the first remake, Riff, Daros, Roger, Jake, Beck, and Gato are playable once again.
