Vika is a playable unit in Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and she is the first playable raven laguz in the game.

Background

Vika was a raven laguz who once was a slave until she was saved by Tormod's Laguz Emancipation Army and then fought as part of the army. She joined Tormod and Muarim in their journey to Daein in "Part 1: Silver-Haired Maiden". The three met up with the Daein Liberation Army at a prison camp in "Chapyer 7: A Gathering Hope" and joined up with them for their following battles. However, Vika was troubled by her instincts which caused her to fear and attempt to avoid Micaiah despite her admiration of Micaiah (unbeknownst to Vika, this instinct was actually due to Micaiah being one of The Branded).

Vika confronted Micaiah about this in the Base Conversation of "Chapter 8: Glory Unwanted" and said that she understood what it was like to be feared, so she apologized to Micaiah and gave her an Ashera Icon (which apparently had a hand in her meeting Tormod and Muarim) as a token of their new friendship. After the battle for Daein's independence ended, Vika returned to their base in the Grann Desert along with Tormod and Muarim.

They remained there until they were called back into action by the message from Yune in "Part 4: Of Gods and Men". The message led the trio to the manor of Duke Tanas, where they battled off Disciples of Order until they met with Ike and the Greil Army in "Chapter 4: Revelations". They then joined up with the Greil Army for the last battles.

After the wars ended, Vika was appointed as a liaison to former laguz slaves. She traveled between the cathedral and laguz district in her job, and she became well loved in both areas.
