Gomoku Narabe Renju is a version of the Japanese board game, Go, for the NES.
Gameplay
The game starts with two black pieces and one white piece being placed randomly on the board. The players take turns placing pieces on the board with the goal of placing five in a row. The game ends when one player can't possibly lose.
Legacy
Gomoku Narabe Renju appeared as a NES game in the Japanese version of Animal Crossing.
Ports and Remakes
- In 2006, Gomoku Narabe Renju was rereleased for the Wii's Virtual Console.
