Mario Strikers Charged is the Wii sequel to Super Mario Strikers.
Gameplay
The game features gameplay similar to the previous game with the same roster of characters available for soccer teams, with the exception of Bowser and his Super Team, who do not make playable returns. The game also adds several more characters. Characters can also perform special shots at the ball: Skillshots for the sidekick characters and Mega Strikes for the captains.
Charged also features Wi-Fi connectivity (and is the second Wii game to do so, as well as the first released in Europe). Players can compete in ranked matches against random opponents or unranked friendly matches against people whom the player has exchanged friend codes with.
