Game & Watch Gallery 4 (known as Game & Watch Gallery Advance in Europe and known as Game Boy Gallery 4 in Japan before its release was cancelled) is a compilation of Game & Watch games. It is the fourth and final installment of the Game & Watch Gallery series as well as the only installment on the Game Boy Advance.
Gameplay
Game & Watch Gallery 4 contains. It has many games that had appeared in previous installments such as Fire, Donkey Kong Jr., Chef, Mario Bros., Donkey Kong and Octopus, with the main difference being updated graphics. New minigames included were Donkey Kong 3, Boxing, Rain Shower, Mario's Cement Factory and Fire Attack. In addition, there were eight hidden games that were only available in Classi Mode: Manhole, Tropical Fish, Mario's Bombs Away, Parachute, Bomb Sweeper, Climber, Safebuster, Lifeboat and Zelda.
Each game can be played in one of two modes. Classic Mode is a recreation of the original game, while Modern Mode has updated graphics, new gameplay additions, and various Mario characters. In addition to the two modes, the game has three difficulty settings: Easy, Difficult, and Star Mode. Star Mode has to be unlocked and is only available in Modern Mode.
Legacy
It is the last Game & Watch Gallery game, but a compilation of original Game & Watch games called Game & Watch Collection was later released exclusively to Club Nintendo members in Japan for the Nintendo DS.
