Tomato Adventure is an RPG for the Game Boy Advance. It's a game intended for younger audiences, but is suitable for everyone.
The game was originally called Gimmick Land and was to be released for the Game Boy Color. However, when the Game Boy Advance launched, it was decided that it should be released on the Game Boy Advance.
Story
The game takes place in the Ketchup Kingdom. DeMille, the hero of the game, lives in a school bus with no wheels. DeMille is watching TV when he sees that King Abira is celebrating Tomato Day by demonstrating the Super Cara-Cooker, a device that turns people into toys. DeMille goes to his friend, Seremo, and asks her to fix his TV. Seremo agreed and gave DeMille his first gimmick, the Gear Yo-Yo. Shortly after, DeMille's girlfriend Patharan came to show him a gift she was given by someone on the top of Toy Ruins, the Gimmick Robo, but it was gone when they arrived. Then, out of nowhere, two purple creatures with zippers on their bodies, Gorikki and Burikki, appeared above them in an odd aircraft, Carorna No.2., and kidnapped Patharan with a hook. DeMille tried to save here, but then Gorikki and Burikki dropped him out and flew off with Patharan to the Gimmick Palace. When DeMille tried to enter, he found out that he needed six Toy Parts to enter the Gimmick Palace. With that, DeMille began his journey.
Gameplay
Players can walk around and talk to people as well as explore areas. When they bump into an enemy, they enter battle. The player mostly uses Gimmicks to battle. Each Gimmick has a minigame associated with it in order for it to be effective. The player can increase the minigame's difficulty in order to make the attack more damaging. As the player makes successful attacks, they earn stars which can be used to do an Extreme Attack.
Legacy
