Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a fighting game and a follow up to Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Gameplay
Brawl is a multiplayer fighter that allows for four players. For maximum compatibility, the game can be played with Gamecube Controller, the Wii Remote, the Remote/Nunchuk combo, and the Classic Controller. These controller configurations can be assigned to player names so as to simplify the time spent on starting a new game.
The game features a number of new items, such as level themed boxes and crates, the Banana Peel, Gooey Bomb, and the Assist Trophy. The latter seems to work like the Pokeballs of the previous two titles, but instead of Pokemon will release different Nintendo characters spanning from any franchise. Examples include Samurai Goroh, a Nintendog, and a Hammer Bros..
