Note: Most of the creatures here were not assigned official names in the American version of Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land. However, Japanese names for many of these characters were found in the Super Mario-Kun manga, although these names may not be official. The enemies with names from a Japanese name are italicized..
Bosses
- Toge Bro
- The boss of Rice Beach appears to be a Koopa Troopa with a spiked shell and helmet. He attacks by retreating into his shell and sliding back and forth in sandy arena. He also slides beneath the sand, and in midair. His only vulnerable point is his soft underbelly. Wario must either ram into this area with his charging attack when the Toge Bro is standing upright, or Wario most leap into the underbelly if the Toge Bro is floating above him. After three hits, he is defeated.
- "Toge" is Japanese for "spike".
- His name suggests some relation to the Hammer Bros., although he appears to be of Koopa Troopa descent.

- Biifun
- Biifun is an antromoprhic bull who is the boss of Mt. Teacup. He battles Wario on a platform above a lake of lava. In battle Biifun attempts to pick up Wario and toss him into the lava. However, Wario can do the same to Biifun. Biifun is defeated after Wario tosses him into the lava.
- Hinyari
- A giant penguin with boxing gloves is Sherbet Land's boss. He attempts to defeat Wario with his fists of fury, but his head is vulnerable to attack. After Wario pounced on his head, Hinyari would retreat into the icy lake below and return wearing a spiked helmet. However, Wario could knock the helmet off by charging into Hinyari from behind. Hinyari went through several helmets throughout the battle until Wario hopped on his head enough times to defeat him.
- Funfun
- The boss of Stove Canyon is some kind of giant floating face. Funfun attacks by either dropping his piercing tongue or by spitting rocks from his nose. Wario can harm him by picking up the rocks he produces and tossing them back into Funfun until he collapses.
- His name seems to be taken from "fun", the Japanese word for "decapitate".

- Bobo
- Bobo is a giant bird who battles Wario atop the S.S. Teacup (similar to Krow from Donkey Kong Country 2). Bobo has two basic attacks: spitting out smaller birds to attack Wario, and flapping his wings at high speed in an attempt to blow Wario overboard. To defeat him, Wario must pick up the smaller birds and toss them at Boubou three times.
- Zenisukii
- Zenisukii is a large ghost who is the boss of Parsley Woods. He is invisible and drops coins that turn into the ghosts of Gooms. Wario would be paralyzed if he touched the ghost himself. However, Wario was able to toss the Goom ghosts back at Zenisukii until he was defeated.
- "Zeni" seems to be a reference to the Japanese word Kozeni (coins) or zenibako (cash box), as he tosses coins which turns into ghost and there is some sort of rock sculpture of a coin in his lair. "Suki" means to like.

- Denpuu
- Denpuu is a genie who serves as the final boss after he is summoned by Captain Syrup in Syrup Castle. He produces fireballs that chase Wario around. However, Wario can toss Denpuu's magic lamp so that it lands upright, producing a small cloud. Wario can ride this cloud and leap from it to pounce on Denpuu's head. The cloud would then turn into a miniature version of Denpuu that blasts lightning bolts, but the mini-Denpuu was easily destroyed. After enough hits to the head, Denpuu was defeated. In the game's ending, Wario claimed the magic lamp and asked for a castle, but what he got depended on how much he paid Denpuu.
