Barboach is a slimy loach-like Pokémon that was introduced in the third generation games. Its evolved form is Whiscash.
Information
Barboach has sensitive whiskers that it uses to taste things in a manner akin to a human's taste, and the whiskers act as an efficient radar system. They can locate prey in even the murkiest of water with the use of its whiskers. Its body is perfect for surviving in muddy and murky environments, as Barboach's body is also surrounded by a slimy film that acts like a barrier which protects its body from the germs in muddy water. Barboach's slimy body also makes it nearly impossible to grasp, as it can easily slip away when grabbed. It is said in one region that Barboach were actually born from hardened mud.
It can evolve into Whiscash at Level 30.
