Vanillite is a living ice cream Pokémon resembling an ice cream cone that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the first in a three-step evolutionary cycle, with its evolved forms being Vanillish and Vanilluxe.
Information
Vanillite formed from icicles bathed in energies from the morning sun. It sleeps in buried snow. Their breath has a temperature of -58 degrees Fahrenheit. Vanillite can create snow crystals and make snow fall in the areas around them. It evolves into Vanillish at Level 35.
Appearances
Mainstream Games
In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, they commonly appeared at Cold Storage in all times of the year. During winter, they also appeared at Route 6 and outside Dragonspiral Tower.
Trivia
- Its name is a combination of "vanilla" (due to it being one of the most popular ice cream flavors as well as indicating its color) with "lite" (which means small or less powerful and is usually associated with foods or beverages such as ice cream).
