Cryogonal is a floating crystallized snowflake-shaped Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games.
Information
Cryogonal is a Pokémon that is born from snow clouds. They utilize chains that are composed of ice crystals in order to capture prey. Cryogonal also go through natural changes in state, as they will turn into steam and vanish under high temperatures. Lowering the temperature causes Cryogonal to reform as ice.
Appearances
Mainstream Games
In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, it rarely appeared at Twist Mountain, being just slightly more common during winter.
Trivia
- Its name is a combination of the prefix "cryo-" (which refers to the cold) with the suffix "-gonal" (which is used for shapes, due to its body looking very polygonal)
