Biography
Rundas was born on Phrygis, a moon of planet Bes III known mainly for ice mining. Phrygisians are able to manipulate and generate ice, a trait which has come in handy in his career as a Bounty Hunter.
He enjoys hunting, so much so that he keeps trophies of all the targets he has successfully captured or killed in his career. He is very proud and believes that good will always triumph over evil. He may also harbor some envy towards Samus Aran and her accomplishments.

GFS Olympus
Rundas is first seen on the GFS Olympus, a Galactic Federation flagship, he feels guilty about the fact that the GFS Valhalla was overtaken by Space Pirates while he wasn't there. Soon afterwards, the Space Pirates attack the Federation fleet orbitting above Norion, Rundas is seen killing Space Pirates.
Norion
On Norion, Rundas protects Samus from four Space Pirate ATCs, then proceedes to activate Generator B. Rundas saves Samus from certain death after he saves her in the shaft of generator C stating that she "Owes him one". Eventually Rundas, Samus, Gandrayda and Ghor make it too Norion's planetary defence control tower in an attempt to destroy a Leviathon heading straight toward Norion. Before the hunters can destroy the leviathon, Dark Samus enters the room and corrupts them. Rundas falls into a coma
Bryyo
Two weeks after, the events at Norion, Rundas awakens to find that he is now self-producing phazon. The Galactic Federation sends Rundas to Bryyo in order to get rid of the Leviathon there, they soon lose contact with him. Two weeks after that, Samus arrives at Bryyo, she encounters Rundas several times and finds rooms full of ice and frozen creatures. Eventually, Samus makes her way to a large open area where she encounters several Space Pirates, however, the pirates become frozen solid right before her eyes. A large Icicle ascends from the ground and reveals Rundas, but he has become corrupted by the phazon within him. Samus is forced to defeat Rundas, but before she can relluctantly finish off her fellow hunter, Rundas suddenly becomes impaled by a large icicle. A Samus-like spirit (Dark Samus) obsorbs Rundas along with his strength and flees, Rundas is never seen again.
