Boss Enemies

Keepers of the spirits of power, Wisdom, and Courage.

Blaaz, Master of fire

Blaaz is the first boss you face in Phantom hourglass. A relatively simple battle, he will split apart into three small Blaazes, and you must use the boomerang to fuse them together. However, the mini Blaazes must be combined in the proper order; they appear on the map screen with anywhere between one and three horns, with one being the first to catch with the boomerang and three the last. Once fused you can hack away at Blaaz.

Cyclok, stirrer of winds

Cyclok can be an extrememly tiring battle if you dont realize how to knock him from his heavenly perch. When you see a small tornado below him, you must throw a bomb into it, effectively shooting the bomb into the sky and blowing up his cloud, knocking him out of the sky. Take some stabs at him and repeat the process until he goes down.

Crayk, Bane of courage

Now this is a strange boss battle. Crayk is invisible, and you can only guess where he is from using the top screen, which shows things from his eyes. Once you figure out his location, you can shoot him with an arrow, stunning him long enough for you to shoot the bulges on his shell. Once all of the bulges are destroyed, his shell will explode, revealing his vulnerable point, his tail. Shoot him in the face with an arrow, and run behind to his tail. Hack away until he falls.

Diabolical Cubus Sisters

Reminiscant of Blind the thief, the Cubus sisters mascarade as damsels in distress on the ghost ship, disperssed throughout the first several floors of the ship. Once reunited, they will gripe to eachother, wondering how Link survived the reaplings and poes. They will reveal themselves and challenge link to a game of volley ball, with an energy ball, reminiscant of the battle wqith Shadow Ganon in the Wind Waker, and Agahnim, among others. Once all four are defeated they will give you the key to Tetras holding cell.
