Courts in Mario Tennis

Mario Tennis features a total of 7 unique courts in which to play. Althought tecnically 16 courts exist most of them are just turf changes with the image of a different character or pair of characters. 10 courts are abailable just by playing the Nintendo 64 version, however 6 require the GameBoy Color version and conectivity between the two via the Transfer Pack to unlock.

Standard Court

Just a normal Court situated inside a stadium with a crowd chearing the contestants. The stadium is recolored according to the court.

Hard Court

  • Ball Speed: Normal
  • Bounce: Strong

Clay Court

  • Ball Speed: Slow
  • Bounce: Weak

Grass Court

  • Ball Speed: Fast
  • Bounce: Weak

Composition Court

  • Ball Speed: Fastest
  • Bounce: Normal

Mario Court

These courts borrow motifs of the Red Switch Place in Super Mario 64, as a pipe surrounded court with rainbows, clouds and towers around it.

Super Mario Court

  • Ball Speed: Normal
  • Bounce: Strong

Mario Bros. Court

  • Ball Speed: Fast
  • Bounce: Weak

Peach Court

Located just outside Princess Peach's Castle in Super Mario 64, surrounded by hills and trees.

Mario & Luigi Court

  • Ball Speed: Fast
  • Bounce: Normal

(Unlock by beating the Star Cup Singles and Doubles with Mario.)

Wario Court

Take inspiration on many aspects of Wario Land III, a desert surrounded court with ruins and treasure chests.

Waluigi Court

  • Ball Speed: Fastest
  • Bounce: Strongest

Yoshi Court

Based lously in Yoshi's Story, a tropical paradise surrounded by giant fruits.

Baby Mario & Yoshi Court

  • Ball Speed: Fastest
  • Bounce: Weak

Birdo & Yoshi Court

Donkey Kong Court

Inspired by the Donkey Kong Country games, this court features a jungle theme surrounded by barrels.

Bowser Court

Looks mostly like the area Bowser in the Underworld of Super Mario 64, a dark cave.
