Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 is the fifth game in the Fire Emblem series as well as the third and last Fire Emblem game released for the Super Famicom. It was originally released over the Nintendo Power system and was the last Nintendo game made for the Super Famicom. Like the previous Fire Emblem games, it was not released outside Japan.
Story
The game follows Prince Leaf as he assembles an army and seeks to reclaim his homeland of Lenster, taking place during Fire Emblem: Seifen no Keifu.
Gameplay
As in previous Fire Emblem games, the player maneuvers units around a map and battles enemy units. This game reprises some of the features introduced by the previous game, such as the skills system, but also introduces new features such as the option to have soldiers to dismount from horses, fatigue stats which will cause soldiers to become tired and unable to battle if used too much, the ability to capture enemies, the infamous "fog of war" which could obstruct battles and the ability to rescue other player units, the latter two would become regular parts of the games.
