Master of Illusion Express is a series of DSiWare games developed by Nintendo with supervision from Japanese toy manufacturer Tenyo. All entries cost 200 Nintendo DSi Points. The original three releases are actually directly taken from the 2007 Nintendo DS game Master of Illusion. The latter three are exclusive to the DSi but share the same design as Master of Illusion. This is actually color coded in the DSi Shop with purple designating games from the original title and green designating the brand new games. In addition, all of the old titles have the Vanishing Card trick from the original release as a bonus.

Old Tricks[edit]

In Funny Face players pick a card from a pile. The amusement comes from drawing a face on the screen which will attempt to guess the card.

In Shuffle Games the DSi is passed to another person and they choose a category between Birth Month, Future Vacations, and Recreation. The person is then given a list relevant to the category, then they choose an item from the list and shuffle the order. After shuffling the person reads out loud the shuffled list while the main player attempts to guess which item they choose by stopping them as soon as it is read aloud.

In Deep Psyche a psychoanalyst will attempt to guess the player's current condition through a series of questions involving numbers. Deep Psyche comes included with Today's Special which involves a chef performing a special magic trick involving numbers.

Included with all three of these release is Vanishing Card. In this trick, the player is asked to shuffled around 12 cards and then choose 5 from the pile. The player is then asked to think of one of the cards shown as the in-game magician makes it dissapear.

New Tricks[edit]

In Mind Probe the player tears up a piece of paper into six and then asks a person to write down the answer to any question the player thinks of, as well as five fake answers, all unknown to the player. After shuffling the pieces of paper, the player then manipulates an on-screen machine to respond when the person's true answer is read out loud.

In Matchmaker the DSi performs a trick that "promises" to unite two people by proving they have similar interests using a lengthy questionnaire. Matchmaker comes included with another new trick, Photo Diagnosis. In this one, the DSi tries to guess a person's age by first scanning their palm. They are then given pools of numbers and then asked if their age appears in the group, although not outright selecting it. The trick ends by scanning the person's face with a final result.

In Psychic Camera the player asks a person to name a card. After which they get their picture taken as the DSi manages to guess which card they were thinking about.
