Beheeyem is a powerful psychic Pokémon of seemingly extraterrestrial origin that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the evolved form of Elgyem.

Information

Beheeyem evolves from Elgyem at Level 42. Like its previous form, Beheeyem has three fingers that each each different colors, (red, green and yellow), and it is believed to communicate by flashing these fingers. Beheeyem also has powerful psychic abilities, especially pertaining to one's mind. They can use their psychic powers to control an opponent's brain and tamper with their memories.

In Pokémon: Black and White Versions, Beheeyem uncommonly appears at Route 14.

Trivia

• Its name is made to invoke the abbreviation "B.E.M.", meaning Bug-Eyed Monster, which is one term used to describe types of supposed aliens. This plays off of it and Elgyem's extraterrestrial nature, as does the Beheeyem's memory modification, which is believed to be something aliens are capable of.
