Golurk is a large artificial Pokémon that was introduced in the fifth generation games. It is the evolved form of Golett.
Information[edit]
Golett evolves into Golurk at Level 43. They and their former forms are said to have been created by ancient people, who ordered them to protect people as well as Pokémon. They can fly across the sky at Mach speeds. Golurk has a seal on its chest which controls its power, and removing the seal will cause that energy to go out of control.
Appearances[edit]
Mainstream Games[edit]
Golurk has not been found in the wild and can only be obtained by evolving a Golett.
Trivia[edit]
- Its name is a combination of "golem" (an artificial creature from Jewish legend) and "lurk". Both Golett and Golurk are based on the golem legend (unlike Golem, who was only named after it) with elements of Japanese mech fighters.
